Japan is where this product category was invented. The reference names in copier carrier - DOWA Electronics Materials, Hitachi Metals (now Proterial), Powdertech - are Japanese or Japan-affiliated, and Japanese buyers audit harder than almost anyone.
Our carrier is exported to Japan and Singapore. That does not make us special. It does mean our particle size distribution, charge behaviour, batch-to-batch consistency, documentation and export packing have already been examined by a market that has no reason to be generous.
From ferrite powder to coating resin to finished carrier - all under one roof. Most carrier makers buy in ferrite powder or buy in coating resin and do the last step only. We do all three, in our own plant in Nan'an. What that means for you:
Our technical work is led by a professor's team and runs through a well-known materials & chemical engineering expert studio at South China University of Technology (SCUT), supported by a graduate internship and practice base. The joint programme focuses on the four things that actually decide carrier performance: core material development, polymer coating resin synthesis, coating process optimisation, and the triboelectric mechanism between toner and carrier.
For a buyer, the practical translation is simple: if a print defect shows up, you get someone who can do failure analysis - not someone who offers to send another bag.

Carrier particles — SEM view
Toner cannot charge itself and toner cannot travel. In a two-component developer, that job belongs to the carrier: a black magnetic microsphere roughly 20 microns across - about a quarter of a human hair.
A carrier particle is a ferrite core with a polymer resin coating - a core-shell structure. The core carries magnetism and moves the particle. The shell does the harder work: it sets how much triboelectric charge the toner picks up, and it decides how long the particle survives in the developer unit before the coating wears off.
No carrier, or a spent carrier, means pale prints, background fog, toner scattering, and machines that throw developer-unit errors.

| Series | Description | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Resin-coated ferrite carrier - standard | Core-shell ferrite carrier with in-house synthesised polymer coating. Stable charge, controlled particle size distribution. | Aftermarket developer filling for mainstream office machines |
| Long-life / high-durability series | Coating formulation tuned for extended service life and slower charge decay. | High-volume print environments, fleet service contracts |
| Custom-matched carrier | Magnetic properties, particle size, resistivity and resin system adjusted to your existing toner. | Toner plants co-developing a developer system |
All series are available as carrier only or as part of a joint carrier + toner matching programme.
We supply carrier compatible with machines from Ricoh, Canon, Konica Minolta, Kyocera, Sharp, Toshiba, Samsung, Xerox and HP. Brand names are used for compatibility reference only; Fujian Sankexin is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by these OEMs.
We reply within 24 hours — with a recommendation, not a brochure. Factory visits welcome in Nan'an.
